My sister buys these from her local butcher and brought me a jar to try. They are simply the BEST pickled onions I have ever tasted (and I’m 71 so have tried many in my lifetime)! Since my “trial” jar, I have bought six more! Never stop making them! I am about to try some chutneys as well. 😁😁

5 stars we were at Coventry Canal floating market June 2022. These onions are the most amazing find. We couldn’t stop eating them, we had a BBQ and got the pickled onions out my the jar was passed around everyone there. Same reaction we couldn’t eat them fast enough! OMG these are so good and will definitely be back to buy more. Absolutely delicious and the best onions we have had in a while. Nice flavour, crisp and moreish. I had kept in the fridge and we really enjoyed them.

When I buy one jar of the most lovely pickled onions in balsamic vinegar it’s never enough as they last me 2 days at most- not only the onions but the vinegar too – as a type 2 diabetic they are really good for you after a meal so if I have 3 meals a day I am helping my health – this week I bought 3 jars to keep for over Christmas but I only have 1 1/2 jars left now so may as well finish off the best pickled onions in the world & hope my butchers ( Gwalia house Abergele ) get me some more
